Protocol Education are recruiting an Autism Support Teaching Assistant to work within a specialist SEND provision near Peterlee. The school supports pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) alongside additional needs such as communication difficulties, learning delays and sensory processing differences. Pupils benefit from a highly supportive environment that focuses on predictable routines, personalised learning and strong relationships with staff.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting pupils with communication and interaction

Qualifications

Applicants should ideally have a DBS registered on the Update Service. Candidates without one will be required to complete a DBS application through Protocol Education prior to starting work.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position.
