A specialist SEND setting in Heaton is looking for an Autism Support Assistant to support pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition and associated communication needs.

The school is seeking someone patient, empathetic and resilient who can build strong relationships and provide consistent support throughout the school day.

Location: Heaton
Pay: Β£92.63 - Β£102 per day
Contract: Full-time, Long-Term

  • Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis
  • Encouraging communication and interaction
  • Supporting emotional regulation
  • Helping pupils access classroom learning
  • Promoting independence and confidence
  • Working closely with class teachers and support staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
