Do you have strong admin skills and a keen eye for detail? We’re looking for an Attendance & Admin Officer to join a supportive school in South Shields. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys data, organisation, and making a real impact behind the scenes. Whether you’ve worked in school admin, attendance, compliance, or office support, we’d love to hear from you.
What you’ll be doing:
- Monitoring daily attendance and following up on absences
- Maintaining accurate attendance records
- Liaising with parents regarding absence and punctuality
- Producing attendance reports for school leaders
- Supporting wider administrative duties across the office
- Ensuring confidential records are managed accurately
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has previous admin or attendance experience
- Has excellent attention to detail
- Can work with confidential information professionally
- Is confident with data systems and spreadsheets
- Has strong communication skills
- Works well independently and as part of a team
