Are you a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role this September? A welcoming and supportive primary school in Ashford-on-Thames (TW15) is seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team. The Role

  • Position: Teaching Assistant
  • Contract: Full-Time or Part-Time
  • Location: Ashford-on-Thames, Surrey (TW15)

We're Looking For Someone Who:

  • Has previous experience working within a primary school, nursery, or educational setting
  • Is passionate about supporting children's learning and development
  • Can build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
  • Is patient, caring, enthusiastic, and adaptable
  • Works well as part of a collaborative team
  • Can confidently support pupils across EYFS, KS1, or KS2
  • Has experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, or speech and language needs, which would be a great bonus
  • Has excellent safeguarding awareness and a child-centred approach

The Successful Candidate Will:

  • Support pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small intervention groups
  • Work alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging and inclusive learning activities
  • Promote positive behaviour and encourage pupils to become confident, independent learners
  • Support children with a range of learning needs, ensuring every child has the opportunity to succeed
  • Help create a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Play an active role in supporting pupils' academic, social, and emotional development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
