A welcoming and supportive primary school in Ashford-on-Thames (TW15) is seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team. The Role
- Position: Teaching Assistant
- Contract: Full-Time or Part-Time
- Location: Ashford-on-Thames, Surrey (TW15)
We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Has previous experience working within a primary school, nursery, or educational setting
- Is passionate about supporting children's learning and development
- Can build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
- Is patient, caring, enthusiastic, and adaptable
- Works well as part of a collaborative team
- Can confidently support pupils across EYFS, KS1, or KS2
- Has experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, or speech and language needs, which would be a great bonus
- Has excellent safeguarding awareness and a child-centred approach
The Successful Candidate Will:
- Support pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small intervention groups
- Work alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging and inclusive learning activities
- Promote positive behaviour and encourage pupils to become confident, independent learners
- Support children with a range of learning needs, ensuring every child has the opportunity to succeed
- Help create a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment
- Play an active role in supporting pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
