ASD 1:1 Specialist TA

Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with Autism/ASD? Do you have experience working with special educational needs, a background in social care, or personal experience supporting individuals with SEND?

We are currently recruiting a full-time Autism Support Assistant in Newham within a specialist setting. This role will involve specifically supporting children and young people with Autism/ASD both inside and outside of the classroom environment.

Your key responsibilities for this role will include supporting students through daily routines and transitions, using clear and consistent communication strategies, building positive and trusting relationships, and encouraging independence, confidence, and emotional regulation.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
