We're looking for someone who can confidently teach Health & Social Care up to and including A Level

. If you enjoy helping young people develop the knowledge, confidence and practical understanding they'll need for their next steps, this could be the perfect role for you.

What you’ll be doing

Every day brings something different, but your role will include

  • Teaching engaging Health & Social Care lessons to students up to and including A Level.
  • Delivering high-quality teaching that inspires students to achieve their full potential.
  • Acting as a Personal Tutor, providing pastoral and academic support to your tutor group.
  • Planning lessons, assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and completing reports.
  • Creating a positive, inclusive learning environment where students can thrive.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to develop the curriculum and share best practice.
  • Taking part in staff development, CPD and wider college activities.

We're looking for someone who

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Has experience teaching Health & Social Care up to and including A Level.
  • Has a strong understanding of post-16 education and assessment.
  • Can motivate and engage learners with a range of abilities.
  • Is organised, approachable and committed to helping students succeed.
  • Enjoys working as part of a supportive and collaborative team.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
