We are recruiting a caring, patient, and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a pupil in a supportive Gateshead primary school. About the role

  • You will become a key adult in the pupil’s school life - supporting them not only with learning, but also with confidence, friendships, and emotional wellbeing.
  • Your day-to-day could include:

    • Using positive reinforcement and behaviour strategies
