We’re looking for a caring, patient, and proactive 1:1 SEN Support to join a welcoming school located in Bristol. This is one of those roles where no two days are the same, but every day matters. You'll provide dedicated 1:1 support for pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Autism (ASD), ADHD, and social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH). The role requires someone that is patient, positive and understands the importance of consistency.
What you'll be doing:
- Providing 1:1 or small group support to pupils with additional needs
- Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to support pupils
- Helping children stay focused during lessons
- Supporting pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
- Monitoring and recording pupil progress
What we're looking for:
- A genuine passion for supporting children with SEN
- A calm, patient and supportive approach
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with SEN (school-based or otherwise)
- A willingness to learn and adapt
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position.
