1:1 Behaviour Support Assistant – SEND Specialist School
Location: North Tyneside area
Salary: £89–£103 per day
Contract: Full-time, Term Time Only

A well-respected specialist provision for students aged 3–16 with a range of additional needs—including emotional, social, and behavioural challenges—is looking for a resilient and compassionate 1:1 Support Assistant to join their dedicated team.
This is a fulfilling role working closely with a pupil who requires personalised, consistent support to access learning, regulate behaviour, and build confidence in a nurturing and structured environment.
What you\’ll be doing:

Providing 1:1 support to a pupil across the school day

Supporting emotional regulation, behaviour management, and social development

Working collaboratively with teaching staff, pastoral teams, and external specialists

Acting as a trusted adult and positive role model
