We’re looking for a supportive and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work part-time with primary-aged children with SEN in North Bristol.

You’ll provide individual and small-group support, helping pupils access learning, develop independence and manage their emotions and behaviour positively.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience working with children or young people with additional needs
  • Be patient, calm and confident
  • Build strong relationships with pupils
  • Have a positive approach to behaviour support
  • Be reliable and committed

Previous school-based SEN experience is desirable, but relevant experience from care, youth work, support work or other child-focused settings will also be considered.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
