Pay: £98–£120 per day, depending on experience

Protocol Education are looking for an energetic Learning Support Assistant with a passion for sport to work within a specialist school setting in South Shields.
This role would suit someone from a football, rugby, boxing, athletics, fitness, PE, coaching or youth work background who enjoys motivating young people and building positive relationships.
You won't just be supporting pupils during PE. You'll be involved throughout the school day, helping pupils engage with lessons, manage behaviour and develop confidence.
The Role
You could be:
- Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups
- Supporting learning across the curriculum
- Using sport and shared interests to build relationships
- Encouraging pupils to participate and stay engaged
- Supporting positive behaviour
- Helping pupils develop confidence and resilience
- Supporting pupils during break and lunchtime
- Assisting with PE and physical activities
- Acting as a positive role model
- Supporting pupils with SEMH and additional needs
We're Looking For
You don't necessarily need previous TA experience.

An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is advantageous and could allow you to get started more quickly.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
