- Helping pupils develop confidence, independence, resilience and positive relationships.
- Supporting emotional regulation and encouraging participation in daily routines.
- Working collaboratively with teaching staff to deliver personalised learning strategies.
- Creating a welcoming, inclusive and stimulating environment where every pupil feels valued and supported.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a background, experience or qualifications in art, drama, music, performing arts, creative therapies or a similar field.
- Has experience working with children or young people, ideally those with SEND.
- Has an understanding of autism, SEMH needs and the challenges some pupils may face in an educational setting.
- Is patient, empathetic, adaptable and confident in responding to individual needs.
- Can build positive relationships and use creative thinking to overcome barriers to learning.
- Is passionate about inclusion and helping young people reach their full potential.
