Sometimes the right adult can completely change a child's experience of school.
We are looking for SEND Learning Support Assistants to work with primary-aged children across Downend, Emersons Green, Frenchay and surrounding areas.
Opportunities include 1:1, small-group and classroom-based SEND support, with both long-term and flexible positions available.
You'll help children to:
- Access learning at their own pace
- Develop communication and social skills
- Build confidence and independence
- Manage transitions and changes in routine
- Develop emotional regulation strategies
- Feel safe and understood at school
You could be supporting children with a range of additional needs, so patience, consistency, empathy and adaptability are essential.
Experience within SEND, education, care, behaviour support, youth work or mentoring would be particularly valuable.
However, we're equally interested in people with transferable experience who understand that every child communicates differently and deserves the opportunity to succeed.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
