Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:30am - 4:00pm | Friday 8:30am - 3:00pm

We are currently recruiting a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a student within a welcoming and supportive school in the Peterlee area. This role would suit someone who is patient, nurturing, and able to build strong professional relationships.
The Role
- Providing dedicated 1:1 support throughout the school day
- Supporting learning activities both inside and outside of the classroom
- Encouraging engagement, confidence, and independence
- Assisting with emotional regulation and wellbeing
- Working closely with teaching staff and parents
- Monitoring progress and providing feedback to the wider team
The Ideal Candidate
- Calm and patient approach
- Strong communication skills
- Able to build trust with students
- Resilient and adaptable
- Experience in schools, care, support work, or youth work is desirable

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
