We are recruiting caring and compassionate Teaching Assistants to support students with additional needs across several schools and specialist provisions in the Peterlee area. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone who enjoys helping young people overcome barriers to learning.
The Role
- Supporting students with SEND on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
- Assisting with classroom activities and interventions
- Encouraging confidence and independence
- Supporting emotional wellbeing and social development
- Working alongside teachers and SEND professionals
