A Pupil Referral Unit in Morpeth is looking for a passionate Hair & Beauty professional to work with young people through fun, practical and creative activities.
This is not your typical classroom role. You'll use your industry knowledge and practical skills to create engaging learning experiences for pupils who may benefit from a more creative approach.
Location: Morpeth
Job Type: Part Time
Start Date: As soon as available
Hours: Flexible / School Hours
Pay: Competitive, depending on experience
Your Role
You'll have the opportunity to introduce pupils to:
- Hair styling
- Hair care
- Beauty and skincare
- Basic makeup techniques
- Personal presentation
- Salon-style activities
- Creative projects
- Practical vocational skills
Alongside the practical side, you'll encourage pupils to develop confidence, communication and positive attitudes towards learning.

- A Hair & Beauty tutor
- A college lecturer
- A vocational trainer
- An experienced industry practitioner
Formal teaching experience isn't essential.
We're looking for someone who is approachable, patient and confident working with young people.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
