Protocol Education are currently recruiting a Learning Support Assistant / Teaching Assistant to join a supportive SEMH Provision in Witham You'll be part of a dedicated team working with students who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

About the role:

  • Supporting students on a 1:1 and small group basis
  • Helping to manage behaviour and encourage engagement in learning
  • Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils
  • Working alongside experienced staff in a collaborative environment

What we're looking for:

  • A positive, resilient and proactive attitude
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • A genuine interest in supporting young people with additional needs
  • Experience is beneficial but not essential - the right mindset and personality is key

The details:

  • Full-time, long-term position
  • Monday to Thurs, 08:30 - 4pm / Fri 3:30pm finish
  • Sites based in Witham, Heybridge, Colchester and Clacton

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
