SEND Support Worker - Driver Required
Looking for a rewarding role supporting pupils with additional needs in a specialist setting?
Protocol Education is working with SEND and SEMH provisions across Northumberland seeking dedicated Support Workers.
Location: Alnwick, Ashington & Northumberland
Contract: Full-Time
About the Role
Due to the location of the schools, applicants must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
You will support pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH needs and complex learning needs throughout the school day.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting pupils within the classroom
- Delivering 1:1 support
- Promoting independence and confidence
- Supporting emotional regulation
- Assisting with educational visits and activities
- Building positive relationships with pupils
We're Looking For
- Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle
- Experience in education, care or support work
- Resilient and adaptable attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Passion for helping young people succeed

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
