It’s our people who fuel our creativity and make our culture feel like home. We are looking for a Cell Co-Ordinator to join our team within IM Production. This position is responsible for coordinating manufacturing cell operations to achieve productivity and quality requirements. Provides work direction, training, and guidance for Finishing operators. What you\’ll do: Coordinate and prioritize daily workload and activities in the manufacturing cell. Carry out duties as a Production Finisher. Cover other Cell Coordinators when required. Execute production sequences and assignments to meet production goals. Confer with supervisors, quality inspectors, trainers and other coordinators to facilitate operations and activities within or between shifts and other functional areas. Coordinate with molding personnel on schedule and start-ups. Support Finishing Operators so that all presses are properly staffed during break times. Provide directions and instructions to assure parts are packaged according to requirements. Ensure that order quantities and customer specifications have been achieved. Identify quality issues relating to trimming, injection molding, packaging, and order fulfillment. Maintain a clean and organized work area with emphasis on safety, quality, efficiency, and utilization. Encourage team members to meet deadlines and productivity goals. Conduct inspections to determine if an order is shippable. Adhere to all quality and safety standards within the department. Adhere to all company policies and operational procedures. Monitor and confirm holiday requests. Carry out appraisals/probation appraisals/return to work interviews. Perform additional tasks as assigned. What it takes: Previous experience in organising work schedules and/or motivating people an advantage. Able to communicate clearly with a wide variety of people. Good organisational skills. Strong attention to detail. Must be computer literate. Good communication both written and verbal. Able to comprehend and follow printed and computer-screen instructions, and direction from supervisors or technical leads. Experience with measurement instruments (micrometres, callipers, height gauges) Able to work safely with sharp tools/objects, such as but not limited to, hobby knives, utility knives, pliers. Physical job requirements including reaching, bending, and grasping. Good finger dexterity, able to do close work and have good vision. Able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment.
