What You Can Expect:

As an Associate Director in our Finance Transformation practice, you will be responsible for building and managing a portfolio of client relationships, originating and converting new business opportunities, and overseeing the successful delivery of engagements across the practice. You will operate as a subject matter expert and trusted adviser to C-suite stakeholders and will play a central role in shaping the direction, capability, and market profile of the BPI Finance Transformation team. You will work across a diverse client base spanning PE-backed businesses, mid-market and FTSE-listed corporates, and large organisations in financial services, real estate, energy, and professional services.

This is a role for someone who combines deep technical credibility in Finance Transformation with the commercial drive and relationship capital to build a sustainable book of business, and the leadership presence to develop a high-performing team beneath them.

The work includes:

• Originate, design, and oversee the delivery of engagements across a range of Finance Transformation projects, including shared services centre transitions and outsourcing readiness, finance target operating model design, finance process optimisation, FP&A and performance reporting transformation, automation and technology enablement, AI in Finance assessments, finance function benchmarking, and post-acquisition finance integration.

Key responsibilities:

• Own and actively develop a portfolio of client relationships at C-suite level, including CFOs, CEOs, and Private Equity operating partners.
• Lead business development activity across the Finance Transformation practice.
• Develop and maintain a strong professional network in the UK Finance Transformation market.
• Hold ultimate accountability for the quality, commercial performance, and client satisfaction of all engagements within your portfolio.
• Oversee Senior Managers and Managers across active engagements.
• Take active accountability for the development of Senior Managers, Managers, and the broader team.
• Drive the development of Protiviti thought leadership in the Finance Transformation space.

Do Your Talents Include the Following?

• Significant experience in a Finance Transformation consulting environment.
• An existing and active network in the UK Finance Transformation or broader CFO advisory market.
• Proven ability to originate, develop, and close client opportunities independently.
• Deep technical knowledge across multiple finance process areas.
• Demonstrated experience leading, managing, and developing high-performing consulting teams.
• A strong track record of developing and delivering proposals and bid materials.
• Experience managing the commercial performance of a portfolio of engagements.
• Exceptional written communication and presentation skills.

Our Workplace and Employment Process:

Protiviti practices a hybrid working model, which is a combination of working in person with purpose and working remotely. The minimum requirement would be two days a week in the office or client site.

Remuneration and Benefits:

Starting salaries are competitive and based on a full-time equivalent schedule. Employees are eligible for medical and dental insurance cover, life assurance, pension scheme, and receive up to 25 days holiday per calendar year.
