Proteus Digital is a human-first social media marketing agency based in Cardiff. We build real, human, performance-led content for ambitious businesses through monthly campaigns on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and LinkedIn. We work with clients all across the world on social media strategy, content production, Meta ads and website builds. We're in this for the long game and we want someone who is too.
This role will involve managing client social media accounts, running Meta ad campaigns and leading the creative output of the agency. Starting with a structured onboarding period where you'll learn how Proteus operates, how we think about content and how we deliver results for clients.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing clients more independently, leading creative decisions and working directly alongside the founder to grow the agency.
- Scheduling and manually posting content across Instagram and TikTok for all clients.
- Building, launching and managing Meta ad campaigns on behalf of clients.
- Conducting social media and content research (trends, hooks, formats, what's performing and why).
- Managing the day-to-day needs of client accounts.
Based in Cardiff with a genuine desire to work from our office at The Maltings. A real passion for social media is essential. Some graphic design experience, Canva is fine, Adobe is a bonus. Strong written communication is required. Experience in a social media, marketing or agency environment is preferred. An understanding of content strategy and performance metrics is important.
The goal is for the right person to eventually help run this business, not just work in it. Be mentored directly by the founder with real investment in your growth as a creative and a strategist.
