We’re looking for a hands-on, detail-orientated Senior Packaging & Graphic Designer to join our Brand & Design Tribe at Protein Works. This newly created role is key to elevating how our brand shows up across all physical and digital touchpoints: from product packaging to eCommerce channels and beyond. If you’re passionate about creating world-class packaging, especially in the world of fast moving consumer goods and thrive on creating impactful visual assets that enhance brand consistency and customer experience, we want to hear from you. You’ll be part of our high-performing Brand & Design team and responsible for delivering packaging excellence. You will also contribute to broader graphic design work that supports all digital channels and internal brand initiatives.
Core Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end packaging design process for new and existing products from concept through to print-ready artwork ensuring excellence in layout, compliance, and brand execution.
- Develop compelling packaging for our nutrition and wellness products across global markets, taking into account language and market-specific nuances.
- Work closely with NPD, Brand, Marketing, and Commercial teams to bring new product launches to life with on-brand, detail-perfect packaging that aligns with our strategies.
- Produce high-quality graphic design assets for use across eCommerce platforms (e.g. our own ecommerce website and third parties like Amazon), performance media, social, and internal brand channels.
- Translate creative briefs into high-performing visual content, applying brand guidelines while pushing creative boundaries to differentiate our brand in a competitive category.
- Maintain and manage asset libraries and design systems to ensure consistency and accessibility across teams.
- Be a guardian of brand compliance, ensuring all assets meet brand, design, and nutritional guidelines.
- Maintain an organised, methodical approach to artwork management.
What You’ll Bring as Standard
- 5+ years’ experience in packaging design, preferably in consumer goods, health, wellness, or food/bev.
- Expert-level skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). After Effects or Premiere Pro is a plus.
- Proven ability to take designs from concept through to production with meticulous attention to print specs, typography, and layout.
- Strong understanding of packaging requirements (die-lines, material constraints, compliance).
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth business or startup/scale-up environment.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with teams from Product to Performance.
- A portfolio that demonstrates excellent packaging design.
