The Role: Quality Assurance Technician
This role is based within our head office in Speke and has the following main responsibilities:-
- Positively releasing product from the production line, including organoleptic assessment of finished product and compare against gold standards
- Carry out quality control checks (e.g. CCP, label verification, weights, shift documentation) to ensure compliance.
- Carry out internal audits as per schedule (e.g. glass, GMP, traceability, QMS)
- Conduct environmental monitoring and product sampling and ensure results are reported accurately
- Supporting investigations for customer complaints and internal non-conformances
- Raise non-conformances for shift based issues and where necessary place product on hold
- Complete shift based reports to ensure information is handed over to teammates accurately
The successful candidate needs to have a good understanding of food manufacturing and hygiene regulations

- Basic food safety and HACCP certification
- Clear and proven experience in QA / QC
- Highly organised and excellent verbal and written skills

- Ability to multi-task and deliver to deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritise, meet deadline and manage changing priorities
- Proven ability to be a flexible and work hard, both independently and in a team environment
- Willingness to work occasionally outside normal business hours, when required.
