As procurement manager, you will take full ownership of our ingredient and packaging supply chain. That means negotiating contracts that protect our margins, maintaining stock levels that keep manufacturing running without interruption, and building the supplier relationships that give us continuity, quality and commercial advantage. It is a broad and genuinely commercial role, with direct visibility into the numbers that drive the business.

What you will be doing
- Own end-to-end procurement for all core ingredients and packaging, maintaining stock levels to keep manufacturing running and products available to customers.
- Lead supplier negotiations across all categories, securing the best possible price and terms while protecting quality and continuity of supply.
- Monitor commodity and market trends to forecast pricing movements and supply chain risk, proactively managing headwinds and identifying commercial opportunities.
- Partner with NPD to source and integrate new ingredients at pace, and work alongside Finance to track procurement-driven cost and margin impact.
- Establish and maintain procurement KPIs and dashboards, using data to provide strategic insight and report to senior leadership.
What success looks like You will bring proven experience in procurement or buying within a food manufacturing environment. A strong track record of supplier negotiation is essential you know how to push hard on price and terms without burning the relationships that matter. You will be commercially sharp, analytically rigorous and confident working with cost data, pricing structures and budget management.
Beyond the technical credentials, you will be the kind of person who moves fast, digs into the detail and does not wait to be told what to do. You are comfortable with ambiguity and energised by change. You spot a risk before it becomes a problem, and you build the solution at the same time as you flag it.
Key competencies for this role:
- Proven procurement or buying experience within a food manufacturing or FMCG business.
- A track record of negotiating commercially favourable supplier contracts across ingredients or packaging.
- Strong analytical and cost analysis skills, with confidence evaluating supplier proposals and managing procurement budgets.
- Experience sourcing for new product development, balancing speed to market with cost and quality.
- A self-starter who moves fast, digs into the detail and builds solutions at the same time as flagging problems.
