Protein Works is hiring a Head of Brand and Product Marketing. Reporting to the Brand Director, this newly created role will lead the Brand & Product Marketing function, translating the overarching Brand Strategy into commercially effective product propositions, go-to-market execution and integrated campaigns that drive measurable growth. This role sits at the intersection of brand and commercial growth, helping attract new customers, maximise the impact of our product launches, and drive demand across the business. What You Will Be Doing

You'll translate our Brand Strategy, customer and category understanding into compelling propositions and go‑to‑market executions that drive demand, attract new customers and deliver commercial growth. You'll ensure every product reaches the right audience consistently and across every customer touchpoint.

  • Partner with the Brand Director and Commercial leadership to translate long‑term brand strategy into annual marketing priorities, product launches and commercial activation plans.
  • Own the execution of product positioning across the portfolio, ensuring all propositions align with the wider Brand Strategy and commercial objectives.
  • Develop and own clear propositions, audience definitions, value statements and reasons to believe for every product and category.
  • Lead go‑to‑market planning and launch execution for major product launches, driving alignment across brand, commercial, performance and product teams to deliver measurable impact.
  • Translate customer, category and behavioural data into insight‑led proposition development, continuously improving conversion, premium product adoption and customer lifetime value.
  • Build and embed the Brand & Product Marketing operating model and frameworks, supporting the wider Brand function.
  • Partner closely with commercial teams to identify growth opportunities, support premiumisation and strengthen the commercial effectiveness of product marketing activity.
  • Help build and develop the Brand & Product Marketing capability, creating the processes, frameworks and ways of working that enable the function to scale.
  • Lead the planning and execution of integrated brand and product marketing campaigns in partnership with the Brand Director.
  • Use data and commercial performance to optimise marketing effectiveness and inform future investment decisions.

Who You Are

  • Proven experience developing product positioning, value propositions and go‑to‑market strategies that have delivered measurable commercial growth.
  • At least 5 to 8 years' experience in product marketing, brand marketing or category management within a commercially driven organisation.
  • A strong track record of leading large‑scale, integrated brand campaigns with significant marketing budgets, demonstrating clear ROI and commercial impact.
  • Experience managing substantial marketing investment, including budget ownership, performance measurement, optimisation and reporting.
  • Strong analytical capability, using customer insight, market research and behavioural data to shape strategy and measure campaign effectiveness.
  • Experience working closely with Product, Commercial, Sales and Marketing teams to successfully launch and scale products or services.
  • A hands‑on approach, comfortable moving between strategic planning and execution in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
  • Experience developing marketing frameworks, governance and best practice across teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence senior leaders and cross‑functional teams.
  • Experience working with high‑profile talent or brand ambassadors would be highly desirable.
