The Role: Head of B2B Sales

Core Responsibilities

  • Own and drive the launch into retail, identifying target groceries, securing new listings, and building long-term partnerships.
  • Oversee the international trade channel, providing direction and support to the International Trade Manager to drive distributor performance and expansion across key markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, serving as the primary point of contact for account negotiations and escalations.
  • Lead Joint Business Planning (JBP) sessions with key accounts, aligning on shared goals and growth opportunities driven by category insight and data.
  • Take full ownership of the budget, ensuring financial targets are delivered.
  • Regularly review and report on international and retail performance metrics to the C-Suite, providing clear insight on progress against targets and strategic priorities.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, marketing, and NPD to ensure trade and retail strategies are executed efficiently and product launches land on time.
  • Manage and optimise product range, pricing, and promotional plans across retail and trade accounts to maximise distribution and profitability.

  • Minimum 5 years experience in sales, business development, or account management.
  • Proven experience in retail account management, including securing and growing listings with grocery, health, or specialist retailers.
  • Track record of budget ownership and delivering against revenue and profit targets.
  • Strong understanding of international trade compliance, export regulations, and customs processes.
  • Experience leading Joint Business Planning with retail or distribution partners.
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to influence and negotiate at senior level.
  • Driven self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
