You will be working as part of a small HR Team providing support across the whole employee lifecycle for our teammates across the business in manufacturing, logistics and all head office functions. We’re looking for an individual with a genuine desire to seek improvements in the way we do things with the potential to grow and develop in this fast paced business.
The Role:
- Take the lead on driving a positive new starter experience from initial onboarding to the end of the probationary period, leading induction training, embedding brand values and company culture.
- Respond to general queries promptly, providing HR advice, guidance and coaching to teammates in adherence to company policy, employment legislation and best practices.
- Support line managers with people management issues; attendance and performance, probationary period and performance plan maintenance, recommending appropriate actions and ensuring these are carried out.
- Share feedback and coaching to line managers to improve.
- Assisting in disciplinary matters and providing guidance to managers.
- Monitoring teammate attendance, and managing holiday and absence records.
- Generate reports for department managers offering insights and recommendations based on HR metrics and data analysis.
- Collaborate with managers where appropriate to develop team members through competency framework development and career planning.
- Work with managers to identify skill building training activities, and co-ordinate training events and e-learning.
- Co-ordinate annual performance and KPI objective setting processes.
- Take a proactive approach to identifying areas for improvement.
- Maintenance of the HR software – HR Toolkit and employee life-cycle maintenance.
- Support with HR project work as needed.
- Ensure the moments that matter to all teammates are managed well - do the ordinary extraordinarily well.

- Proficiency in HR software and MS Office applications.
- Stays informed about employment legislative matters.
