We work exclusively within healthcare environments, with particular expertise in mental health settings and anti-ligature compliance.

Today, we deliver a comprehensive range of compliance services including anti-ligature, fire safety, electrical, water hygiene, mechanical, and LOLER. Our purpose is to provide evidence-based compliance support through a trusted, asset-driven platform. Our ambition is to become the recognised market leader in healthcare compliance.

We are looking to appoint a Business Development Manager to support the next phase of our growth. This is a senior, commercially focused role responsible for developing new business opportunities across NHS Trusts, private healthcare providers, and mental healthcare organisations. You will play a key role in expanding our client base, building long-term relationships with senior stakeholders, and contributing to the overall growth strategy of the business. This role is suited to someone who is comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy and accountability, and who is motivated by delivering tangible commercial outcomes.

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across NHS Trusts and private healthcare organisations
  • Proactively engage prospects using a structured approach, supported by an established and well-developed CRM database (HubSpot)
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial engagement through to contract award
  • Develop and maintain a strong, qualified pipeline to support accurate forecasting and long-term growth
  • Contribute to the commercial strategy and positioning of Protects Plus within the healthcare sector
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless transition from sale to delivery

Proven experience in business development within healthcare or mental healthcare environments. Strong track record of selling services into NHS Trusts and/or private healthcare organisations. Commercially driven, with a focus on revenue growth, pipeline development, and long-term value creation. Self-sufficient and proactive, with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, growing business. Experience using CRM systems (preferably HubSpot) to manage pipeline and activity.

This is an opportunity to join a fast-growing organisation with clear ambitions to scale significantly over the coming years. We are looking for someone who can contribute not only to revenue growth, but also to the long-term development and enterprise value of the business.
