The Role: What You’ll Be Doing

  • Team Collaborator: Work closely with our team to recruit top talent, maintaining the perfect balance of quality and quantity.
  • Target Chaser: Deliver against agreed recruitment targets and timelines, balancing great candidate experience with strong results.
  • Hiring Manager Liaison: Conduct role sign off meetings with Hiring Managers to ensure clear expectations and a comprehensive understanding of the role.
  • Curious Conversationalist: Review CVs, engage in meaningful initial conversations, and conduct telephone interviews to create a dynamic candidate pipeline.
  • Insightful Interviewer: Lead fluid, conversational in-person interviews, using probing questions to identify candidates who are the perfect fit for us.
  • Talent Scout: Embark on headhunting missions across LinkedIn, job boards, and social media to discover exceptional candidates.
  • Organisational Whiz: Master our ATS system, tracking candidates and expanding our talent pool with expertise.
  • Onboarding Specialist: Ensure new recruits feel welcome and ready for success by conducting offer meetings.
  • Creative Thinker: Support the team with inventive recruitment strategies, attracting candidates and keeping our pipeline thriving.
  • Content Specialist: Craft job adverts and descriptions that align with the company's voice.

What Makes You Shine

  • Experience in an in-house or agency recruitment role, managing end-to-end hiring and working to targets.
  • A track record of building strong relationships with hiring managers, understanding their needs and influencing with data and insight.
  • Proven experience in sourcing and headhunting – confident using tools like LinkedIn, job boards and ATS systems to proactively find and approach talent.
  • Strong skills in screening, interviewing and assessing candidates, with a structured, evidence-based approach to decision-making.
  • The ability to handle challenging conversations – including feedback, negotiations and managing expectations with both candidates and managers.
  • Excellent organisation and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple vacancies and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clear, confident communication skills – both written and verbal – able to represent Protect Line professionally and positively in the external market.
  • Comfort working independently, taking ownership of vacancies and seeing them through to successful hire.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset, always looking for ways to improve candidate pipelines, processes and experience.
