Protecnium is an international consulting firm specializing in engineering and technical services. We are currently looking for a Mechanical Installation Supervisor to join our team for a Solar PV Plant Project in Scotland, United Kingdom (on-site position), approximately 50 minutes north of Edinburgh.
Project: Solar PV Construction Project
Estimated duration of the position: 3 months β in general, when the project ends, we try to place the employee in other projects to give him/her continuity.
Summary: responsible for supervising mechanical installation works on site, including mounting structures, trackers or fixed-tilt systems, PV module installation, and coordination of installation crews. The role requires ensuring compliance with project quality standards, HSE requirements, schedule targets, and daily productivity.
Main Responsibilities:
- Supervise the mechanical installation of mounting structures, trackers or fixed-tilt systems, and PV modules.
- Coordinate installation teams and subcontractors on site, ensuring daily work plans are achieved.
- Monitor the quality of completed works in accordance with drawings, technical specifications, and project standards.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements during all mechanical activities.
- Report progress, site issues, material needs, and productivity to the construction/site management team.
Working hours: Monday to Friday: 9 am to 5 pm β 1 hour break.
