Protecnium is an international consulting firm specializing in engineering and technical services. We are currently looking for a Site Engineer to join our team for a tunnel construction project in the East of London (100% Onsite).
Project: Tunnel construction project.
Estimated Duration: 12-month contract. In general, when the project ends, we try to relocate the employee to other projects to ensure continuity.
Responsibilities:
- Supervision of the manufacturing, storage and installation of rings, ensuring dimensional accuracy, tolerances, alignment and compliance with the project’s technical specifications.
- Monitoring and control of mortar production at the plant, ensuring correct mix design, dosage, traceability, performance and availability in accordance with site requirements.
- Quality control of materials used on site, including review of test results, certificates and compliance with applicable standards and specifications, ensuring that materials meet the required quality and safety criteria.
- Coordination with production, quality and site teams.
- Daily and weekly reporting on site activities and progress.
- Identification of technical deviations and proposal of corrective measures.
- Technical support to the construction team regarding quality control and site processes.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience working as a Site Engineer in tunnel projects or heavy civil engineering works.
- Previous experience as a Site Engineer is required.
- Ability to respond quickly to operational challenges and make sound decisions.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday. 10 hours Day/Night shift.
