Protech Site Services are currently recruiting for an Advanced Salesforce Administrator to join a team in London. We are seeking a highly capable Salesforce Platform Lead to take full ownership of our Salesforce ecosystem, driving its evolution as a critical business platform. This role goes beyond day‑to‑day management, focusing on strategic development, architectural oversight, and embedding Salesforce as a core enabler of commercial performance and operational excellence. You will play a key role in shaping how the organisation leverages Salesforce, ensuring scalability, data integrity, and alignment with long‑term business objectives.

Platform Strategy & Architecture

  • Define and deliver the long‑term roadmap for Salesforce, ensuring alignment with organisational growth plans and digital strategy.
  • Own the architectural design of the platform, including integrations, data structures, and multi‑cloud alignment.
  • Establish best‑in‑class development, release, and governance frameworks to maintain platform stability and scalability.
  • Lead the design of advanced automation and integration solutions that reduce manual intervention and improve efficiency.

Business Transformation & Process Optimisation

  • Partner with senior stakeholders to understand strategic priorities and translate these into scalable platform capabilities.
  • Drive transformation of business processes through intelligent use of Salesforce, improving productivity and user experience.
  • Challenge existing ways of working, introducing more efficient, data‑led approaches across functions.
  • Ensure solutions are future‑proved, balancing immediate delivery with long‑term platform sustainability.
  • Own the organisation’s Salesforce data strategy, ensuring a consistent, reliable, and scalable data model.
  • Implement robust governance frameworks that promote data accuracy, accountability, and a true “single source of truth.”
  • Use data insights and trend analysis to proactively identify risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Oversee resolution of complex data and integration issues, working closely with internal and external technical teams.

Insight, Reporting & Performance

  • Establish a best‑in‑class reporting framework that delivers clear, actionable insights to leadership teams.
  • Define and standardise key business metrics, ensuring consistency across departments.
  • Enable a data‑driven culture by empowering users with intuitive, self‑service reporting capabilities.
  • Continuously enhance reporting capability to support strategic decision‑making and performance management.

Security, Compliance & Risk Management

  • Take ownership of platform security, ensuring appropriate access controls and governance structures are in place.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and internal security standards.
  • Maintain audit readiness through proactive monitoring, documentation, and continuous improvement of controls.
  • Oversee user access and role design to ensure both security and operational effectiveness.

Adoption, Capability & Leadership

  • Act as the senior point of expertise for Salesforce, providing guidance and direction across the business.
  • Drive user adoption and platform maturity through structured enablement programmes and ongoing engagement.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, influencing behaviour to maximise platform value.
  • Lead on knowledge sharing, training strategies, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage relationships with Salesforce partners and third‑party providers, ensuring high‑quality delivery and value for money.
  • Oversee the delivery of integrations and enhancements, ensuring alignment with architectural standards.
  • Act as the product owner for Salesforce, prioritising initiatives that deliver measurable business impact.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to better connect Salesforce with the wider technology landscape.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience leading and evolving Salesforce platforms within complex, multi‑stakeholder environments.
  • Strong architectural understanding of Salesforce and its wider ecosystem, including integrations and data design.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive business change through technology.
  • Deep understanding of CRM strategy and how platforms support commercial performance.
  • Experience establishing governance frameworks that ensure scalability, security, and data integrity.
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g. Administrator, Advanced Administrator, or similar).
  • Experience working across multiple Salesforce products (e.g. Sales, Marketing, Data Cloud).
  • Background in delivering large‑scale transformation or platform modernisation initiatives.
