Protech Site Services are currently recruiting for a Contracts Manager to oversee a large-scale refurbishment project in Paddington, London. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable and experienced in Design & Build refurbishment works on both residential/student accommodation properties. This exciting project includes the complete strip out and refurbishment of 300+ student apartments and communal areas including a gym and cinema.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing and delivering the projects on time and within budget
  • Liaising with all major stakeholders
  • Leading a team of Project Managers, Site Managers, and Sub Contractors
  • Ensuring that works are completed safely
  • Maintaining a good working knowledge of current contracts, acts, and legislation
  • Attending site meetings
  • Handing over completed projects to clients
  • Providing accurate information for regional monthly appraisals and various other reports
  • Liaising with the design team and commercial on any site variations

Essential Skills:

  • Project Management
  • Clean Driving License
  • Exceptional leadership and management skills
  • Good IT skills with knowledge of specific build and project management platforms and industry-relevant software
  • Strong technical understanding with the ability to interpret and understand CAD and hand‑drafted plans and drawings
