Role Summary:
My client are looking to recruit a planning professional to support demand management, materials coordination, and production scheduling within a fast-paced, high-mix environment. This role would suit someone who enjoys working cross-functionally, has a strong grasp of ERP-driven planning, and is comfortable balancing customer demand with operational capability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage sales order, forecast, and quotation information, confirming delivery commitments and maintaining accurate schedules.
- Translate demand signals into effective production and purchasing plans using ERP and material planning tools.
- Monitor inventory across multiple locations, identifying risks, optimisation opportunities, and stock health improvements.
- Maintain planning and logistics data accuracy within business systems.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across supply chain and planning activities.
- Build and maintain production schedules, including capacity planning for SMT operations.
Desired Qualifications / Skills:
- Proven experience in a planning, materials, or supply chain role within a manufacturing environment.
- Comfortable working in low-to-medium volume, high-mix production settings.
- Strong working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and Excel.
- Familiar with engineering change processes within manufacturing.
- Experience within industrial or technical manufacturing would be advantageous.
