We're looking for a practical, hands-on Quality Manager to join a growing manufacturing business in Hertfordshire. This is a role for someone who enjoys being close to production, solving problems, improving processes and working with people across the business to ensure products are delivered right first time. You'll take ownership of the Quality Management System, lead audits, manage non-conformances and drive continuous improvement across the factory.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing and improving the Quality Management System
  • Leading internal and external audits
  • Managing non-conformances and corrective actions
  • Supporting supplier quality activities
  • Working closely with production teams to improve quality and efficiency
  • Improving documentation, processes and work instructions
  • Supporting continuous improvement projects across the business

We're looking for:

  • Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Experience operating within an ISO quality system
  • A practical approach to problem solving and root cause analysis
  • Experience working closely with production teams
  • Someone who enjoys rolling their sleeves up and making a difference
  • Previous experience within an SME environment would be advantageous
