A fantastic opportunity has become available for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established and highly regulated manufacturing operation. This role offers the chance to work with a wide range of production and utility equipment, playing a key part in ensuring reliability, compliance, and continuous improvement across the site.

Key Responsibilities as a Maintenance Engineer:

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on production and utility equipment.
  • Perform equipment calibration, setup, fault diagnosis, and repairs.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues efficiently to minimise downtime.
  • Complete maintenance records and documentation in accordance with GMP and company standards.
  • Support effective shift handovers and collaborate closely with production and quality teams.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing equipment performance and reliability.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with engineering procedures and site regulations.

Skills & Experience Required as a Maintenance Engineer:

  • Proven experience maintaining pharmaceutical, process, or manufacturing equipment, such as sterile water systems, HVAC, filling lines, or similar plant machinery.
  • Strong fault-finding, diagnostic, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience working within regulated industries, including pharmaceutical, food, FMCG, or chemical manufacturing.
  • Good understanding of GMP requirements and experience using CMMS systems.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A proactive and hands-on approach to maintenance and continuous improvement.
