Our client is at the forefront of scientific innovation, providing researchers worldwide with revolutionary laboratory equipment and analytic solutions and they are looking for a Mechanical Technician to join their team.
Mechanical Technician Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a mechanically-biased role, with demonstrated exposure to fabrication processes such as cutting, drilling, abrasing, finishing, milling and other machining.
- Technical qualification in a mechanical engineering discipline, either vocational or academic.
- Experience of assembling pressure fittings and joins, tubing manipulation and extrusion use.
- Manually dexterous, able to use tools appropriately to assemble products such as manifolds for fluid and gas flow.
- Computer literate with skills in MS Office Applications such as Excel, Outlook, MS Visio and MS Teams.
Mechanical Technician Responsibilities:
As a Mechanical Technician you will be required to work within a manufacturing environment building assemblies and working within a team to build complete assemblies. Working from drawings and written instructions, candidates will need to be able to follow these accurately to build assemblies. Assemblers will be required to assemble a wide variety of products for the Aerospace industry. As a Mechanical Technician you will be required to undertake a wide variety of duties including mechanical assembly, wiring and soldering.
