A globally recognised engineering firm is seeking experienced CNC Grinders to join its growing team. There are currently 5 openings across various Day, Night and Weekend Shifts.

As a CNC Cylindrical Grinder, you will set, program, edit, and operate a variety of CNC and manual grinding machines, producing components to the highest standards in a machine shop environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program, set, and operate CNC cylindrical (internal/external) and manual surface grinding machines.
  • Produce high-quality components in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Create detailed setup procedures and maintain associated tooling/gauging.
  • Liaise with production support and inspect work using CMM and contour trace machines.
  • Complete job documentation and ensure traceability through accurate time logging.
  • Maintain flexibility to operate additional machinery as required.
About You:

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Proven experience in CNC Cylindrical and Surface Grinding.
  • Programming and editing skills, ideally using Fanuc Pictogram.
  • Strong understanding of speeds, feeds, and work-holding techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and perform accurate self-inspection.
  • A proactive attitude and commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
Shift Patterns:
  • Days: Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 17:00 (no premium).
  • Nights: Monday - Thursday, 19:00 - 06:00 (30% shift allowance).
  • Weekends: Friday - Sunday, 06:00 - 18:30 (25% shift allowance).
