We are seeking a Firmware Engineer for an exciting contract opportunity with one of our clients near Luton. This role is a contract position outside IR35 and offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge battery-powered products that incorporate low-power radio, analogue/digital sensors, and display integration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in firmware development and electronics, with experience writing code in C.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop firmware for battery-powered products, including integration of low-power radio, analogue and digital sensors, and display technologies.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration between firmware and electronics.
- Troubleshoot and debug firmware-related issues.
- Ensure power efficiency and low-power operation for battery-powered products.
- Participate in design and code reviews to ensure high-quality firmware and software development.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong knowledge of firmware development and embedded electronics.
- Experience with low-power radio communication and analogue/digital sensors.
- Familiarity with display integration in embedded systems.
- Experience working on battery-powered products.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable Skills:
