Β£40,000 per annum
ProTech Recruitment is working with a global organisation to recruit an experienced Logistics Analyst to support international logistics operations from their Dorking site.
The Role
As the Logistics Analyst you will play a key role in managing and analysing global freight activity, supporting contract negotiations, ensuring accurate freight payment, and coordinating inbound and outbound shipments in a cost-effective and compliant manner.
Key responsibilities include:
- Analysing freight contracts, rates and shipping routes
- Requesting and evaluating freight quotes from approved carriers
- Maintaining tariffs, surcharges and rate summaries in Excel
- Reviewing freight invoices and ensuring accurate GL coding
- Coordinating shipments with freight forwarders and carriers
- Supporting internal teams with tracking, expedited shipments and cost analysis
- Monitoring logistics spend and identifying cost-saving opportunities
About You
- Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics or related discipline
- Proven experience in international logistics
- Experience with cold chain logistics and biological sample shipments
- Understanding of Incoterms and Hazmat / Dangerous Goods requirements
- Experience with Oracle Cloud and Freight Payment Centres
- Strong Excel skills with a data-driven, problem-solving mindset
