We are currently recruiting for a Service Coordinator to join our clients Sheffield's branch on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and customer-focused individual to play a key role in supporting our service operations and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities as a Service Coordinator:
- Handling reactive customer calls professionally and efficiently.
- Scheduling maintenance work, breakdown call-outs, return visits, commissioning activities, and additional service requirements.
- Ensuring the effective utilisation of service engineers.
- Maintaining accurate service records and updating information on the service management system.
- Processing engineer job sheets through Protean, from completion through to invoicing.
- Responding to customer enquiries regarding work carried out on site.
- Maintaining accurate customer records, contract profiles, and renewal correspondence.
- Coordinating compressor spares and parts to support scheduled service work and repairs.
- Working closely with the Service Manager to identify and implement operational improvements.
- Providing day-to-day support to engineers.
- Assisting the Service Manager with the development and implementation of Personal Development Plans (PDPs).
Skills & Experience Required as Service Coordinator:
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient IT skills and confidence using service management systems.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including active listening.
