Job Description

About the Role\\n\\nWe are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Cleanroom & Production Technician to join our Operations team. This role involves the assembly, testing, cleaning, and packaging of sterile active implantable medical devices in a regulated cleanroom environment.\\n\\nYou will play a key part in ensuring high-quality, high-precision products are delivered to the required standards while working closely with both the production and R&D teams.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities\\n\\nAssemble complex electro-mechanical devices under a microscope within a cleanroom environment.\\n\\nHandle and operate assembly equipment and tools safely and effectively.\\n\\nFollow Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).\\n\\nComplete batch and production records accurately and diligently.\\n\\nPerform in-process inspections and support independent verification and testing activities.\\n\\nMaintain inventory accuracy and ensure clean, safe working conditions.\\n\\nCollaborate with R&D and support product/process development as required.\\n\\nTake responsibility for personal health and safety and contribute to a culture of safety and continuous improvement.\\n\\nQualifications & Experience\\n\\nEssential:\\n\\nGood secondary education or equivalent.\\n\\nStrong manual dexterity and practical skills.\\n\\nExcellent soldering skills, including fine wire rework and PCB assembly (SMD, PTH).\\n\\nProven experience in high-precision electro-mechanical assembly.\\n\\nFamiliarity with test and inspection equipment.\\n\\nDesirable:\\n\\nFormal qualification such as HNC, HND, or Level 3 NVQ in a relevant discipline.\\n\\nExperience working within cleanroom environments and under microscopes.\\n\\nKnowledge of quality standards for medical devices or regulated industries.\\n\\nKey Competencies\\n\\nHigh attention to detail and strong visual inspection skills.\\n\\nComfortable working in a regulated, quality-driven environment.\\n\\nSelf-organised with the ability to manage own workload.\\n\\nStrong communication skills (written and verbal).\\n\\nOpen to learning new skills and adopting new processes.\\n\\nPositive team player with a growth mindset.\\n\\nAble to adapt to fast-paced, multidisciplinary environments
