Location: Hemel Hempstead
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:15am-4:15pm
Salary: £30,000 per annum
Contract: 6 months guaranteed, with likelihood to extend
We are currently recruiting for a Assembler to join a busy production team in Hemel Hempstead. The role involves assembling small components and complete units using hand tools, drawings and written instructions. Previous experience is not essential as full training will be provided, but attention to detail, reliability and a hands-on approach are essential.
Key Responsibilities as a Assembler
Assemble small components, sub-assemblies and complete units
Work from drawings, diagrams and written instructions
Use a variety of small hand tools to complete assemblies
Work accurately to fine tolerances and quality standards
Follow production procedures and build instructions
Work efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines
Assemble a variety of products for the aerospace industry
Maintain high levels of quality and workmanship
Work collaboratively within the production team
Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area
Follow all health, safety and environmental procedures
Demonstrate reliability and punctualitySkills & Experience as a Assembler
Previous production or assembly experience is desirable but not essential
Full training will be provided

Ability to follow drawings and written instructions accurately
Ability to use small hand tools confidently
