Technical Office Specialist – Aircraft Maintenance We are currently recruiting for an experienced Technical Office Specialist to support helicopter maintenance activities within a busy aircraft maintenance environment. You don't necessarily need to have held the title of Technical Office Specialist. If you have experience in aircraft technical records, airworthiness, technical services, maintenance planning or engineering support, your background could be a strong match. The Role You will support helicopter maintenance activities by ensuring technical documentation, maintenance records and supporting data are accurate, current and properly controlled. Working closely with engineering, quality, technical services and operational teams, you will help ensure maintenance activities are supported by the correct documentation and procedures. Key Responsibilities * Prepare, review and manage aircraft maintenance work packages, task cards and supporting documentation, maintaining accurate technical and airworthiness records. * Control and update technical publications, manufacturer documentation and approved maintenance data, ensuring information remains current and traceable. * Support the preparation and review of Certificates of Release to Service (CRS) documentation and EASA Form 1 component release documentation, as applicable. * Monitor documentation status, identify discrepancies and follow up on outstanding information to support maintenance progress and close-out. * Liaise with engineering, maintenance planning, quality and operational teams, using relevant maintenance management systems and databases to maintain accurate records. About You You will have at least 4 years' experience within an aircraft maintenance services environment, with a good understanding of aircraft maintenance processes and technical documentation. Experience managing maintenance work packages, technical records, airworthiness documentation or maintenance planning would be highly relevant. You may currently work in technical records, technical services, CAMO, airworthiness, maintenance planning, production planning, engineering support or a similar aircraft maintenance role. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, good IT skills and the ability to work to deadlines in a busy maintenance environment are essential. You must have the right to live and work in the UK and possess a full UK driving licence. Desirable Experience Previous helicopter or rotary-wing maintenance experience would be highly desirable, although relevant experience gained in fixed-wing aircraft maintenance may also be suitable. Familiarity with Part-145 maintenance environments, continuing airworthiness processes, component traceability and SAP or similar aviation maintenance systems would be beneficial. The Opportunity This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy helicopter maintenance environment on an initial contract of at least 6 months, with the potential for a permanent position. If you have relevant aircraft maintenance experience and a strong background in technical documentation, records or engineering support, we would welcome your application, even if your current job title differs from the one advertised
