Typical Responsibilities:

  • Set up, operate, and monitor process machines (pick and place, screen printer, AOI etc.) for PCB assembly.
  • Load and unload PCBs and components onto machines according to production requirements.
  • Ensure accurate placement of components.
  • Inspect assembled PCBs for quality, ensuring proper component placement and soldering.
  • Perform visual inspections to verify that assemblies meet the required specifications.
  • Document inspection results and report any quality issues to the supervisor.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to schedules and production targets.
  • Identify potential issues in the production line and communicate with the team to resolve problems quickly.
  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area.

Person Specification:
