Typical Responsibilities
- To work with and under instruction from Security, Service and Projects Administration Team Members, complying with work instructions, company policies and Health and Safety procedures.
- The commissioning of new enterprise security and associated systems as well as additions to existing systems.
- To maintain a working knowledge of circuits and measuring devices and an understanding and respect of electrical circuits as well as undertaking training courses where necessary.
- Routine servicing and reactive maintenance of our clients’ Security systems and associated Integrated systems.
- Maintain an accurate and high standard of Customer, Company and Personal paperwork.
- Undertake ‘On-Call’ duties as part of your Area Team.
- Any other duties commensurate with the role.
Person Specification
- Candidates shall be able to demonstrate the necessary qualifications, experience, skills, and traits to meet the requirements set below.

Qualifications
- A full Electrical based qualification such as City & Guilds, ONC, HNC etc.
Experience
- Experience of working within the Electronic Security Engineering sector.
- A working knowledge of electrical circuits & measuring devices.
- Experience of servicing and commissioning electronic security systems and associated systems.
- Familiarity with safe working practices and Health & Safety requirements.
- Experience and knowledge in commissioning high end enterprise systems such as C Cure, Lenel, Genetec and Gallagher and working on large scale projects.
Skills / Abilities
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Competent using technology such as laptops, measuring devices, smart phones etc.
- Ability to maintain accurate records whilst regularly submitting customer and company paperwork in a timely manner.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- The ability to communicate effectively with staff at varying levels throughout the company.
Other
- A thorough understanding of relevant British Standards, in particular National Security Inspectorate requirements.
- A genuine interest in your work with an enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
- A full and valid driving licence.
