Job Description

Protec Camerfield is Protec Fire and Security Group's company that specialises in sprinklers, watermist and gas suppression.\\n\\nAt Camerfield we have an opportunity for a Sprinkler and Water Mist Designer. Ideally we require the successful candidate to be based in London and the South East of England, although we will consider applicants from any UK locations, if their skills, knowledge and experience are suitable for the position requirements.\\n\\nAs Sprinkler and Water Mist Designer, you will provide comprehensive support as part of a busy sprinkler & water mist design team. Working with clients and engineers you will plan and organise works from the order stage through to completion ensuring client satisfaction.\\n\\nResponsibilities\\n\\nReporting to the Design Manager, the role will involve preparing the design drawings and calculations for projects.\\n\\nWorking closely with the project team to ensure designs are completed on time and to the relevant technical standards.\\n\\nInvolved in attending design meetings as and when necessary and supporting other members of the team.\\n\\nWorking with clients with the occasional face to face client meeting.\\n\\nRequirements\\n\\nLPCB Qualifed\\n\\nExprience of working in a similar role within the Fire Protection industry.\\n\\nSkills & Abilities\\n\\nExcellent customer service skills\\n\\nProfessional telephone manner\\n\\nExcellent oral and written communication skills\\n\\nProficiency using Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel, Outlook and Access\\n\\nCompetent using AutoCAD & Canute FHC\\n\\nBIM / Revit modelling\\n\\nAbility to confidently deal with difficult and stressful situations\\n\\nAbility to maintain accurate records\\n\\nGreat interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team\\n\\nAbility to communicate effectively with staff at varying levels throughout the company\\n\\nSalary/package is dependent on experience and company policy is to promote internally
