Protec Fire and Security Group, a Bosch Company, have an opportunity for a Project Engineer (Custodial). The position of Project Engineer is to work on and assist with the day to day project management of a new Fire Detection and Alarm Systems Project within a New Build Prison environment. With a sound knowledge and previous experience in the industry, you will ensure efficient delivery and installation of challenging, fast paced Custodial projects. Responsibilities:- * Ability to handle projects from enquiry to completion. * Ability to manage a construction programme and report accordingly. * To effectively manage the installation works on site whilst liaising with both sub-contractors and clients. * Undertaking of relevant H & S duties ie safe starts, tool box talks etc. * Liaise with manufacturing, design and other relevant departments to ensure timely delivery. * Ability to highlight any problem areas ensuring they are effectively communicated to the relevant parties. * Ensuring compliance with codes, practices, and specifications. * To complete Quality Assurance documentation ensuring works are of the appropriate standard and report snags to sub-contractors. * Ability to delegate tasks to team members. * Willingness to learn and undertake commercial responsibilities on projects. * Any other duties commensurate with your position
