Job Description

Protec Fire and Security Group, a Bosch Company, have an opportunity for a Fire Alarm and Security Systems Project Manager in the London area.\\nPurpose of the post / Job description\\nTo work on the project engineering and management of new Fire Detection and Security installations. With a sound knowledge of past and present Fire Detection and Security systems you will ensure efficient delivery and installation of new projects and upgrades to existing systems.\\nResponsibilities\\n1. To handle projects from initial enquiry through to final accounts.\\n2.

Undertake financial control of projects, delivering the works efficiently and profitably.\\n3. To effectively manage the installation works on site whilst liaising with clients and other departments.\\n4. Prepare detailed work programs to ensure all labour and deadline requirements are met.\\n5.

Liaise with manufacturing, design and other relevant departments to ensure timely delivery.\\n6. To negotiate contract variations and agree works where required.\\n7. To highlight possible problem areas and obtain commercial contractual advice and ensure contract documentation drawings are correctly designed.\\n8.

Any other duties commensurate with your position.\\nQualifications\\nA Levels or equivalent qualifications\\nExperience\\nExperience within a similar role managing complete projects from tender to commission\\nWorking knowledge of current British Standards\\nKnowledge of Fire Detection and associated equipment\\nSkills/Abilities\\nAbility to efficiently manage project delivery\\nAn excellent eye for detail\\nExcellent oral and written communication skills\\nExcellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with people at all levels\\nAbility to source and purchase materials\\nCapable of managing labour resources\\nAbility to liaise and coordinate works with clients\\nGood financial management skills\\nProficient using Microsoft computer packages including Excel, Word, and Outlook\\nOther\\nEnthusiasm and willingness to learn\\nFlexible in approach to working hours\\nA full and valid driving license
