Hi there!To improve your experience, choose which option describes you bestProject Engineer β Fire Alarm and Life Safety Systems Protec Fire and Security Group, a Bosch company, have an opportunity for a Fire Alarm, Electronic Security and Life Safety Systems Project Engineer to work on and assist with the day to day project management of a new Fire Detection and Alarm Systems Projects. With a sound knowledge and previous experience in the industry, you will ensure efficient project delivery and installation of challenging, fast paced projects.Job Location: Leeds, West London and CambridgeContract TypeFull timeDependent on experience and locationHours40 hours per weekTypical Responsibilities Ability to handle projects from enquiry to completion.Ability to manage a construction programme and report accordingly.To effectively manage the installation works on site whilst liaising with both sub-contractors and clients.Undertaking of relevant H & S duties ie safe starts, tool box talks etc.Liaise with manufacturing, design and other relevant departments to ensure timely delivery.Ability to highlight any problem areas ensuring they are effectively communicated to the relevant parties.Ensuring compliance with codes, practices, and specifications.To complete Quality Assurance documentation ensuring works are of the appropriate standard and report snags to sub-contractors.Ability to delegate tasks to team members.Willingness to learn and undertake commercial responsibilities on projects.Any other duties commensurate with your position.Person Specification Candidates shall be able to demonstrate the necessary qualifications, experience, skills, and traits to meet the requirements set below.
